Female therapist London, eating disorder, weight loss, anxiety, depression, trauma

Hi, I’m Nikkita…

I’m deeply passionate about helping women feel free, confident and at peace.

Having worked with hundreds of women, from stay-at-home mums to globe trotting executives (and being a woman myself), I understand the pressure that comes with trying to do everything right.

Many of my clients, regardless of their personal or professional success, start working with me because they feel insecure about their body, have unhealthy habits around food and exercise, and generally struggle to treat themselves with care.

When life gets busy, they become their last priority.

This pattern has a knock on effect and impacts just about every area of life. Yes, it’s frustrating, depressing and anxiety provoking, but more than that it’s exhausting and completely robs your life of joy.

Thankfully, it doesn’t have to be this way.

I provide specialist therapy to women who want to change their relationship with food, improve their self-confidence and learn to take care of themselves in a way that adds to, rather than diminishes, the joy in their lives.

What People Are Saying

My journey has been Transformative...

While I still struggle with enduring aspects of my mental health disorders, my day to day life is much more manageable. I feel like I am making proactive, positive changes to my life, and this has been largely as a result of my therapy sessions with Nikkita.

— RACHAEL

I always feel heard…

… and treated with kindness & openness. At the end of each session I come away having learnt more about myself. Nikkita has provided me with tools to approach situations I would have found impossible to deal with in the past, and with the knowledge I need to understand my emotions and stress triggers.

— FELICITY

I have felt a huge weight lifted.

I know that whatever I face, or however I feel, Nikkita will help me understand it, and myself better. I look forward to our conversations each week and the hope I felt when we first talked has remained constant, except now it's been realised. I have made huge progress thanks to Nikkita's support.

— MOLLY

Working with Nikkita has transformed my relationship with my body & mind.

She is so adept at getting to the root reason for certain behaviours and I have had many a lightbulb moment in our sessions. I’m very grateful for her patience but also for knowing when to challenge me.

A little more about…

  • My approach is integrative, meaning I’ve studied and use a range of different psychological theories in my work. The idea behind this is there is no one size fits all. You’re a unique person with your own unique life experience, thus incorporating different approaches means your therapy can be tailored specifically to you.

While I pay close attention to detail and finished my degree with a distinction, my approach isn’t cold, clinical or ‘prescribed’. I’m warm, compassionate and unshockable, so you can expect a judgement free experience.

  • I first began working with professional women in 2008 as a personal trainer in a Central London gym, since then I've worked with private and corporate clients, ran a boutique fitness club for professional women, hosted various health and wellness events in London, and collaborated with brands such as Sweaty Betty and Ren Skincare.

As part of my placement in 2018-20, I worked within the National Health Service & a private clinic, The Awareness Centre. My clients struggled with a range of difficulties from anxiety, depression, disordered eating, along with grief and relationship difficulties.

In 2020 I received a first class honours degree and began my own private practice focused on helping professional women who struggle with issues ranging from stress and overwhelm to disordered eating, anxiety, and trauma.

  • After 7 years of working as a personal trainer for professional women, I realised so many of my talented, successful clients judged themselves by their appearance - not their personal & professional success.

In my eyes, they were incredible. In theirs they were failures if they ate the ‘wrong’ thing, gained a little weight, or missed a workout. I was very familiar with this way of thinking having struggled with similar issues as a teen and young adult.

After a messy divorce at 24 (yes, 24), I saw a therapist for 10 months and it saved me from years of struggle. Becoming a therapist and helping my clients free themselves from self-doubt & self-criticism was a natural next step.

If you can relate and need a little help, feel free to book in a no-commitment call.

  • My clients. I adore & cherish them all! I love seeing them grow and change and become more of who they are. It is the honour of a lifetime to be able to walk alongside my clients as they discover who they truly are and something I’m forever grateful for.

  • When I finished school I dreamt of becoming a physiotherapist. Sadly, after finding out that it didn't mean massaging the South African rugby team, I decided to visit the UK for a 3 month adventure... it's been 18 years and counting!
